about the work

plant poems are a series of plant-person poetic collaborations. each plant has a unique biography, which is read and recorded. the voice recordings are then provided to the plants who make the poetry as their biofeedback selects clips from the audio file.. a second poetic production occurs as i phonetically and playfully transcribe the plant poems into new text.
